Workplace harassment and bullying: Cancelling the culture of silence

IET.png

Speak Out Revolution

In collaboration with the Institution of Engineering and Technology

Speak Out Revolution is a not-for-profit, founded in 2020, working to cancel the culture of silence on harassment and bullying in workplaces across the UK.

They host the Speak Out survey, a global anonymous survey for individuals to anonymously share lived experiences of harassment and bullying from across all sectors. The research focuses on the employee experience and route to resolution within the workplace.

In this talk, Marie Hemingway will share insights into the lived experiences of employees, unseen barriers to resolution and opportunities for us all to be allies for inclusive working. The talk will finish with an overview of, and invite to support, the Speak Out Revolution #DesignHerIn campaign focused on challenges present within the engineering sector in the UK.

This event welcomes attendees from all genders and all organisations. We hope that you can join us!
