  • Thank you for empowering us to be allies and to speak out against harassment and bullying.

Speak Out Revolution led an inspiring and very practical session for over 200 women from Highways England on harassment and bullying in the workplace. What was particularly valuable was the practical suggestions that all of us felt able to implement following the session, along with the much keener awareness of what constitutes bullying and harassment.

For several people this session helped give names to situations they had experienced in their lives in workplaces and in their personal lives. It helped us have an important conversation about how colleagues can report issues they may experience and how they can access support within the organisation for themselves.

  • An extremely important topic that should be discussed continuously in every industry and workplace

The Speak Out Revolution session gave lots of really helpful information on workplace harassment and bullying. The session contained great insight and data from their anonymous survey, this allowed the team to see what is going on within other workplace environments and to reflect on their own experiences and perception.

It’s an extremely important topic that should be discussed continuously in every industry and workplace so we can create a safe environment for people to feel comfortable speaking out when they are a victim to this sort of behaviour.

Thank you for giving us the awareness and toolkit to be better within our companies and to grow professionally and personally.

  • Many will have taken these tools to support them in creating inclusive safe spaces

Cadent wants its employees to come to work to feel like they can be their authentic self, speak out and have the confidence to engage in sensitive topics, and Speak Out has helped us on journey to do just that.

Speak Out was really engaging with our audience and shared thought experiments that got colleagues discussing what they would do in a situation where the action seemed obvious, but where bystander behaviour is often seen. They shared important insights and practical tips on how to handle such situations, which we found very useful.

I know many will have taken these tools to support them in creating inclusive safe spaces, or challenging non-inclusive behaviour.

  • A vibrant and thought-provoking presentation that highlighted specific types of bullying and harassment.

Speak Out Revolution supported an event we held to mark International Women’s Day this year and the engagement and response we received from the event was phenomenal. Speak Out Revolution delivered a vibrant and thought-provoking presentation that highlighted specific types of bullying and harassment, which were followed up by our second guest speaker who was able to match their real-life experiences to the categories presented by Speak Out Revolution.

The overall effect was very powerful. Speak Out Revolution ended their presentation with a call to action for active allyship to ensure that the culture within an organisation is not one that tolerates these behaviours.
